I remember seeing Dirty Harry and knew then that the film set a new standard in story telling. Cold as ice cop, cold blooded killer and sounds and action never before seen (1971). Keep up the good work Parker (or Robert).

Just read your post…I went to Western High School, graduated in 1966. I Remember the, “gangs” . Remember the Latin Queens? Like you, I had many friends who participated in that life..I was never in a gang, but enjoyed the friendship of many. Went to their parties hung around Clark Park…I lived just a block from the park on McKinstry. Miss the days when fun was fun and enemies were just that. Thanks for the memories . You and Dave were a force to be reckoned with.
Adventure obviously builds character and I’m glad you evaded the criminal law system. Great article..takes me back to the days of my aimless youth. My strategy…(bubble gum) those machines just kept turning out candy with the same coin. Of course the laundrymat attendant finally busted me and I had to move on to bigger and better things. Love it! Keep it coming.
